Title: Overheating
Post by: Kaosune on January 29, 2009, 01:15:32 PM
hey guys

Last sunday, when i turned on my pc, i smelt something burning, then my pc froze. After checking it for a while, I checked that the system's temperature was 50 degrees C and my CPU's was 87 degrees C. I realized that a cable was stuck in the CPU's fan, I removed it, and I could keep going fine.

Then today, the same thing happened, with this little difference: the CPU was completely fine. System's temerature is 53 degrees C and CPU temperature's 50 degrees C.

what could it be?
