Title: Super Slow Computer

Hey juggernuaght sent me here so I hope it works /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

So my computer is running extremly slow, it hasn't always been like this /sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />

Any suggestions?

I downloaded Hijackthis, and I extracted in onto my desktop and it wont open /sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />

It won't even show underm my processes under my task manager /sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />

I also tried, both links you provided, and by buddy tried sending me the folder, and then just the .exe.  

Nothing seems to work.

Can you let me know what version of Windows your running please
Eg... Windows XP service pack 2

If unsure, go to START>RUN..
Type in winver then hit OK

Open Windows Defender.
Click on Tools, General Settings.
Scroll down and uncheck Turn on real-time protection (recommended).
After you uncheck this, click on the Save button and close Windows Defender.


Download ComboFix from one of these locations:
