The thing with my setupp.ini is that it reads:
[Pid]
ExtraData=65616E6B746B7A656E706110C7B326
Pid=52400000
Can I still just use the 270 in the last three digits?

Just try it... and let us know...

copy all files from your w2k cd to your hd.
make changes
burn to a cd-rw
test
write back here

Even quicker way:
Copy all files to your hard drive. Modify file. Start setup, see if it asks for serial number. If not, it worked! If it does, back to the drawing board.
*Note, you don\'t have to let setup finish, just let it get to the part where it asks for a serial number.

It doesn\'t work on WinXP Pro Build 2474.
I just tested it.

Changing to 270 works on Danish version.
No problem.
