Title: .msi installer notice always open,when i start IE

Hi,
my problem is, since i remove a software / deinstallation always  .msi installer starts and want install a software. Is there a way to stop this ? I use Windows 2000. The same problem happens also on XP, but there i use msconfig to solve this easy.
