Title: Mouse Scroll Doesnt work

Not sure if this is the right place for the question, anyway. The scroll wheel only half works; it works if I press it down and move the pointer but scrolling does not work. Any ideas?

Do you have another mouse you can try?

What operating system are you using?
What the exact model mouse?

I tried another mouse and the scroll did work on it. I am running Vista. I'm not sure how to check the model of my mouse, it's a Razor mouse from like 6 years ago. Is there a way to check the model?

How old is the other mouse that you tried?

It was a Dell mouse with a ball that I found in the closet. I assume like 10 years old.

Well, you have a Razor mouse that we're not sure what model that is 6 years old
A backup mouse that is possibly 10 years old

I've had scroll buttons go after a couple years, depending on useage
I would suggest, if possible, get a new one, or borrow a mouse that you know the scroll
button works and try it on this computer

I was just curious that something may have been changed without my knowing cause other people go on this computer. So if the other mouse works and this doesnt it just died out i guess. I'll try a couple more things with some setting but it looks like its dead. Thanks for your time though.
