Title: w2k bootable cd issue.
Post by: Anonymous on May 23, 2001, 07:06:36 PM
I followed the instructions on creating a bootable w2k cd.
http://www.thetechguide.com/win2kbootcd/ (http://\"http://www.thetechguide.com/win2kbootcd/\")

The cd boots but soon after, w2k setup askes me to \"Insert Windows 2000 Professional CD into Drive a:\"

Did I forget to change something?

I did do an intergrated(slipstream) install of SP2 into w2k.
Also added some Post SP2 hotfixes to it before trying the burn. Between the url above and Microsoft\'s SP Deployment guide, I think I did everything right.

thanks

Mike

Make sure you set the volume label to \"W2PFPP_EN\" in the Advanced Options on the Volume Descriptor tab.

Take a look at the setup instructions again to see what I\'m talking about:
