Title: bad Motherboard??
Post by: Chad on May 27, 2001, 01:46:01 PM
I am doing an upgrade on a PII 350 system to a 733 celeron, I purchased an ECS P6VXA mainboard and after installing it, The system hangs when trying to install driver for the onboard audio chip and USB ports I have used this motherboard before with no problems, any ideas what could be causing this?

CHECK YOUR PCI, MEMORY AND FSB CLOCK ARE CORRECT

IF NOT SURE GO INTO YOUR BIOS AND LOAD FAILSAFE SETTINGS

SEE IF IT WORKS THEN IF NOT TRY YOUR OLD BITS IN THE BOARD IF STILL NO JOY TAKE THE BOARD BACK TO THE SHOP
