greetings programs... have a question about XP, and decided to tap a vast knowledge base... here goes.
I installed XP Pro...blah blah blah.... I dug on old(er) 3.5gig hd outta the parts bucket, and was wondering if I could install it and tell XP to use it as the swap file... I set my swap as a static 1gig on the main HD, but I wanted to put the older drive to use. Its a bit too small for installing the OS, my roommate tried to do that on a drive the same size, and it kept teling him to clean up more space etc etc...
just trying to put an old HD to efficient use. thanks for ay help.

Hi,
I recommend not to do that if the second drive is slower. Also, the 3.5G drive is too small for WinXP. The better use is to save your data, or a storage to copy CDROMs from.
