How to get DVD drive, CD-R/RW drive, 3 1/2 floppy disk drive and 100 mb zip drive installed in one computer? I have an old computer pentium II 300 mhz.
I also like to upgrade my hard drive, does the new hard drive they have now works on the old computer? Please help. Thanks

All those devices will work in your system.
If you get a new hard drive you will have to connect it to one of the optical drives.
Connect the hard drive as master and DVD as slave on one cable connected to IDE-0 (or 1).
Connect the CD-RW as master and the zip drive as slave on the other cable connected to IDE-1 (or 2).
Personally I would not use the zip drive (to small). The CD-RW holds much more data.
If you have zip disks with needed data on them, connect the system as above and transfer the data from zip to CD-R. Then remove the zip drive and reconfigure your system as follows:
Hard drive connected to IDE-0 (or 1).
CD-RW as master/DVD as slave connected to IDE-1 (or 2).
Todays hard drives will work fine in that system but it will not run at its full transfer rate (ATA100 or 133).
The motherboard in that system will only support transfer rates of ATA33 or possibly ATA66.
Have fun!
