It\'s official, Mandrake 9.1 is out, and we have the ISO\'s available for download. Here\'s the links, enjoy!
CD1: Install (http://\"http://www.thetechguide.com/downloads/Mandrake91-cd1-inst.i586.iso\")
CD2: Extras (http://\"http://www.thetechguide.com/downloads/Mandrake91-cd2-ext.i586.iso\")
CD3: International Support (plus a few extra packages) (http://\"http://www.thetechguide.com/downloads/Mandrake91-cd3-i18n.i586.iso\")
Mandrake 9.1 DVD (includes CDs 1-3 plus contrib packages) (http://\"http://www.thetechguide.com/downloads/Mandrake91-dvd.iso.gz\")
Note, you must have an NTFS filesystem or be running linux to download, FAT32 cannot handle files larger than 4gig...also you may have to right-click the link and select save-as if your browser tries to display the file instead of downloading
Mandrake 9.1 MD5SUMS (http://\"http://www.thetechguide.com/downloads/Mandrake91md5sums.txt\")
You only need the first CD to do an install, CD2 is useful if you want to install alot of software. Please check the md5sums before burning, this will ensure you have a corrupt-free download.

I'd love to get hold of Mandrake 9.1 on DVD, but I've had problems downloading it from your site. I'm on a 10 Mbps University connection, so I shouldn't have many problems (though the speed is pretty slow during peak US time), but the largest filesize I've managed is 2.25Gb (and it is on an NTFS partition), which was reported to be corrupted by 7zip when I tried unpacking, and gave the wrong MD5 sum.
Using Getright to download it didn't help either, since the server doesn't support resumable downloads. What can I do to get it? I'd pay $10 for the burned DVD-R, but I live in the UK, so shipping won't be that cheap. Please help,
Jeremy.

Hrm. I had someone else that had problems with it until I compressed it. I was able to download successfully after that, but my system is all linux so that might have been part of it. I can see about getting it on the ftp server, that would support resumable downloads.
I can send one to you, any idea how much shipping would be?

Ok, have the ftp up for it, try it out and let me know how it goes. Anonymous ftp is at ftp.thetechguide.com. It's in the pub directory.

Thanks v. much for the help.
I'm using GetRight to download and I think I finally have the whole file (after quite a long download) - I don't think GetRight knows that it has the whole thing (it keeps on downloading), but the file size doesn't get any larger than 4,137,431 bytes. Unfortunately, the md5sum is wrong, too. Any advice?
-
Let GetRight finish, sometimes it says it's at 100% but still takes a while to finish, especially if you had segmented downloading enabled. Second, once it's done you have to extract the file before you can check it with the md5sum (the md5sum was generated on the iso itself, not the gzipped iso).
