Having restored corrupted Registry\'s before on other xp
home units from copying the snapshots in the \"System
Volume information\" folder to windowssystem32config.
On this particular XP Pro unit all the snapshots are missing the SYSTEM and SAM files but
have the SOFTWARE, SECURITY and DEFAULT files
Anybody got a clue why are they not there and can you do a restore with out them????
