i just bought a new MB and processor. everytime i try to install XP or ME, my computer keeps rebooting all the time. i get it installed but it doesnt work. i was told that my PCchips m920LR socket 423 motherboard is not compatible with 2000, nt, me, Xp or later versions of windows if the processor uses a 478 bridge on the 423 board. is this true? if so what are my OS options? will 98 SE work? thanks for all the help. Windows XP should install and work fine, you must use FAT 32 instead of NTFS Though. Good Luck.
