Title: Boot Screens On Theme Xp
Post by: bones on April 15, 2003, 06:25:40 PM
I was just wondering why I cannot get a boot screen program to install on my computer.  The program file ntoskrnl cannot be opened in win32 mode.  First of all what does that mean, and second, what is it that I need to do to make this program work.  I followed the instructions on theme xp, but I am stuck on the part where it says ntoskrnl cannot be opened in win 32 mode.  I want to make this little program work, but I would appreciate it if someone could give me an idea of where I am going wrong.

what exactly are you trying to do with the ntoskrnl executable? it's not meant to be opened directly, the idea is to replace your original with the modified copy you obtained.
