Title: WinXP boot screens (advanced)
Post by: Coffee on May 16, 2003, 03:20:54 PM
After reading all the topics/quotes, i can't believe the same question comes up soooooo many times when there's only need to ask the same questions once, which makes me wonder just how many numb people there are out there.

Besides that...
I'm having real trouble with making mi own boot screen. Basically i've managed to figure out everything thats been discussed before even reading through the forums, like colors files boot ini's etc. and have compiled a couple of my own.
The problem lies with this funny little black square in the top left of the boot screen. I'm guessing its the slider/progress bar, even though it's nicely sliding along where it should be. Could this be something to do with the pallet?
I've experimented with even hacking into the exe to manually change the color pallets but still no effect. This is really beginning to pee mi off.

If any one can understand the above and has anything that can help, my eyes n ears are open /wink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />

Oh and there was one other thoughtful question that i read in the forums... how can you change the position of the slider?
