Hello all..
I have a DELL Inspiron 8000 Notebook that came with WinME I reinstalled Win2K. Now it cant recognise DVDDrive. CD-RW Drive works fine. but for some reason, DVD Drive wont recognise any CD's.
I installed all the drives that came with WinME Drivers CD. but still the same problem.
any idea why and how to fix this ?. any site where i can down load the drivers ?.
Thanks in advance

Ok, so your notebook has two drives, a DVD and a CD-RW? Most have one drive that does both, that's why I ask. As far as drivers, none should be needed for the drive itself; if the CD-RW drive is working then the DVD should too. Now if your problem is you can't watch DVD movies, then that's a separate issue, you need to install DVD software for that.
Can you give me a little more information about your setup?
