I followed the tutorial on this site and everything worked great. However, when I start my computer it all goes horribly wrong. When it first comes up, it is fine. It fades in and everything. But when its all the way faded in, it flashes and inverts the colors! HA!
I couldn't find another topic that addressed this problem.
Thanks.

/huh.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' /> Did you upgrade to XP or do a clean install? I just did a clean install of XP Pro yesterday cause I bought a new h drive. Anyway have you updated your video card drivers as well all your other devices? Have you checked device manager to see if the card is installed right and functioning right? Do your apps look inverted also?

I got this computer through my college and it works great. The drivers are up to date and I have Service Pack 1. And I'm using XP Pro. I've never had a problem with my graphics card.

this guide may help, basicly it says that microsoft inverted the hex values of the colors in the boot pallette, so that may be why your colors are screwy.
