Just purchased an Office XP package. Which also have the need of activation like Windows XP.
If you find a corporate serial key number on the web, this key will automaticaly deactivate the activation process. If you use this corporate serial key Offfice XP will never ask you for activation. I suppose this is the same for Windows XP.
Reading through the license text, there is nothing as far as I can see that tells that you can not use a nother key than the one written on your package. So if you have purchased an XP package then you can legaly use a nother key to "activate" your XP software ????
Anyone have comments to this issue ?

With Win Xp you can use any valid key and change the key at will if the have the software. Is it legal? how cares! Just burn it, hack it and enjoy. XP is super easy to hack so you don't have to activate but you need a valid key. Don't know about Office Xp but have seen hacking software on web to bypass activation.

I have a corporate product key, I do not know if it will work on retail version software. Let me know if you need it, it doesn't act like ET and call home to Microsoft.

I also have the ISO of the corp. software
