Title: Search engines not working for me

Hi guys.  I came into work this morning and every website i go to that has a search engine I try to search for something and it draws a "The page cannot be displayed".  Yahoo and MSN's search engines draw "The page cannot be displayed".. I cant even go to google or Lycos... the only one that works is Dogpile.com.   My computer is the only one on the network that's like this.  I have reset all my internet options, run ad-aware, cleared all cookies, restarted PC, reset all internet security settings.  Any suggestions?  my guess is that yahoo and msn are using the same technology for the search engine and somehow that technology is "dumb" to my pc.. i donno... i just need help.  thanks!

Hey,

I think we have a big coincidence here, one of my users has had the same problem since friday & i did all the things you mentioned i even backed out explorer 6.1 & went back to 5.5 but with no luck, I been searching the web for others with the same problem but no luck,  

Are you still having the problem???  If you were able to correct it what did you do???

I found the fix (at least on my pc), it was a bad/bogus host file go to link
