i have been trying to use the winxp explorer in win2000 but failed to work, so is there a way of making win2k have the same outlook or appearance as win xp /ph34r.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':ph34r:\' />

This isnt quite what youre looking for I'm sure but you could try WindowBlinds. It has hundreds of "skins" to choose from. Even Windows XP style.
