Hey all.  I'm new here and I have a problem.  I want to know if there is a way I can burn a DVD with my CDR.  I don't mean a copy, I want to put an AVI file on a dvd with my CD burner.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To burn a dvd you have to have a dvd burner

Okay, what about VCD?  Can I burn a VCD with my CDR and play it in my DVD player?

I have all the Nero softwear, the newest versions, but the quality of the VCDs aren't great.  Also, the "mini-dvds" that I burn don't work.  I think maybe if I burn them on dvdrs it'll work
