Scan your system for the crackmaster.exe file.
Delete It. This is what launched the virus. Get the latest virus definitions for nortons, go into safe mode and run it norton from there.
also, if you type cmd under start/run and get a error NTVDM PU has encountered an illegal instruction, check to see if a file named cmd.com is in your windows/system32 directory. If this file is on your system, then go to the site listed below. it explains how to get rid of cmd.com problem. Systems32 should not have a file named cmd.com, only cmd.exe.
