Hi, i've been having problems with a certain virus on my pc thats called oo.exe, i don't know where it came from as i've been away, letting my mate use my pc. My mate has no clue either but he is pretty click happy and clicks on basically anything that says ok. Anyway every time i log onto my pc AVG picks up a Trojan horse IRC/BackDoor.SdBot.MYX virus. I've tried to press delete, but that doesn't work, it seems to do nothing if it is healed, but still it's on my system. I have searched all over the net and this site caught my attention. I looked on some previous reports and lots of people seem to be having the same problem as me, well, they had at some point. I looked over the advice and it said to download hijackthis. i did but then stopped as it said to seek help from someone who may have a clue how to sort the problem out. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. This is the first major virus i've ever had and i just don't know what to do about it.
