Tech Clinic / BITS won't start?

Go to microsoft home page- type in "update BITS", it will be updated and BITS will start automatically.
My windows update would not load and one of the requirements was to make sure BITS was started. I clicked on "start", but got the error code 2147024846. So by updating BITS, it started!
