Software / Win xp pro

greetings,
i am trying to add, edit remove, programs in win xp pro.
basicaly the lower right side of windows, (where the clock is)
Example: the Quicktime icon in the lower right is something i don't want to load.
but i need to add nVIDIA, (which use to load, but somehow was removed!)
also the msconfig has a startup tab. the files listed under this tab, where are they and how do you edit what goes in the startup?
thanks for any help with this.
if anyone can explain how to get an image uploaded here, i'll post a sample!

..ok so i can't upload a 20kb file...!!?
