Tech Clinic / comp refuses to boot

ok so like 6 months ago (maybe 8 months) i downloaded this music file from limewire. at first my AV detected some adware and stuff like that so i cleaned the file (i think). the next day, i booted my comp and ran a regular scan. 4 adwares. day after that, 16 adware. 3rd day...50 adware. btw i deleted the adwares and my scans . it just seemed that they were duplicating. so on the 5th day, my comp was running REALLY REALLY SLOW! every 2 seconds the CPU usage would jump to 99%-100% freezing my comp. i did a system restore back like 10 days but nothing changed. eventually the comp became so slow it refused to even load the account screen. now im running the comp in safe mode. btw, i tried scanning for viruses and spyware but the results were zip. any ideas?
