Hello,
How can I pc anywhere into a computer on a network behind a linksys router. I opened the ports on the router to allow it to work in theory. So, how can I just connect to it, the IP address the computer is, is a one the router give it. 192.168.1.? so..how can it tell from what to what?

Can anyone tell me the commands i would need to know to use the telnet command? or how to do it? Is there a way i can telnet into a pc thats behind a router on a network? thanks for all of your help, it is much needed.

While starting win 98 there is a error pertaining to sys.ini. It says to replace the file VSERVER.VXD...then it says hit enter to continue....Could anyone tell me what vserve.vxd is and how do i go about fixing this startup error?? Thanks!!!

Well, It hasnt happened for a while. I guess Im just going to assume that its the anti-virus causing this. IT seems to be the consensus on other forums. I have a patch that is supposed to update the part of the program that causes it. I will see. THanks everyone!!!

Thanks, Im going to try out the above problems and then see if it works. Its really hard to tell somtimes if it works beacuse it will randomly do this. SO it may be a hr to a week before i know for sure. If it is a VGA problem, which I may think (because it seems to do it when a screen changes or somthing with graphics is loading, somtimes) what can I do to fix this problem??? YOu guys have been extremly good help. THanks!!!!

My computer just randomly restarts itself. I checked the event viewer and this what i got :

What is this bugcheck deal and why am i getting it? This is been going on for some time now..I hope somone has the answer for me. Thanks a lot ;-)

my case is acutally really cool. I have 4 fans and 1 fan on the hard drive.  So, the heat isnt a issue. Like for instance, Its been running for 2 days now, but it will still randomly just restart...

Well here is the deal.  The person who set up the password left work, so its set but no one knows what it is. I tried the admin for password.. No dice. Any other ideas???

My computer just randomly restarts itself. It is driving me crazy, It only seems to do it with my 100gb hdd. Whats the deal? any comments? I even flashed the bios to a newer one and downloaded the newest chip set drivers to! help
