There is always a risk of getting your account banned and/or locked when u attempt to remove recoveries. Because Jagex knows that when people unset recoveries, it's normally to sell the account. If they wanted to change them, a person would simply change them and wait till the deadline to get them changed. You may or may not get your account back. Good luck though
