Does anyone know of any corporate edition copies out there. Some people are selling the sites on ebay where they can be downloaded for free. Does anyone know about them?

If im making a brand new comp for my house or business, i only buy ASUS boards. They always work better than any other boards i use. I only get other boards if I have less of a choice over ebay or something. Go with ASUS its worth the extra money.

Software / being watched by microsoft

First off, if your info is with this website, and Microsoft could be watching this website because a lot of things that are said on this site arent benificial to Microsoft, it isnt good to say you have a pirated version of XP. But overlooking that, I would say that it depends on your KEY numbers. If its the one for corporate edition that have been flying around the internet and can be found anywhere, then maybe. That KEY starts off with something like FQQ2 or something like that in it. That is a known leaked KEY, and unless you have some special way to get around it, microsoft wont let you download SP1 and some other updates. If you have one of the unknown KEYs id say you are fine. The main way to tell is if you can download SP1 or not.

Software / moving software to another computer

Its more of a problem than the acrivation of Office XP. There are ways to get around office XP's activation. Try downloading KEY GENERATORS off of Kazza or Morpheus or Bearshare. But in dont think you can take the files strait off of that hard drive and dump them onto another hard drive. If you had the CD you could just install it on the other system. Also, there are websites that will sell individual licenses for versions of windows and office. Those are cheaper by far because they dont come with the software. You could buy one of those and use its Key for activation.
