In all the time you've been trying to find out how to stop this message appearing, you could have re-installed it or purchased a newer version.

There are only 2 reasons i can think of for not wanting to re-install it

1) You can't be bothered downloading the updates again
2) You don't have the a copy of NAV.

Haven't you heard of the Symantec 60 day money back guarantee? All you have to do is purchase the originals from any software supplier, and as long as you contact Symantec within 60 days asking for a refund (and keep your receipt) you'll be able to claim your money back. Simple!!!

I understand you want to know how to get rid of the message and there HAS to be a way, but for now why not settle on the quick fix.

Just an idea...

http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' /> I'm trying to create a bootable w2k cd that has had the setupp.ini file edited so windows doesn't ask for a cd serial key when installing.

The problem is that i'm not too sure how you go about creating the bootable cd to use it. I've got all the w2k files stored on hdd but the help file for Nero is missing from my PC.

Any ideas?!?
