Tech Clinic / Folder View Settings

Most of my folders are set to View Details

A few folders such as the Control Panel I want set to Icons

Nearly every time I restart my system the Control Panel reverts to Detail View

Music file folder just seem to change displayed details at will.

Folders that have not been accessed in a while seem more prone to change
and just seem to change displayed info at will.

I am Running XP Pro

My old system running WinMe does not have this problem

Software / NON-PnP ISA

Built a a new system with one ISA Slot so I could access my older devices,
Only to find out that XP doesnot support old NON-PnP Adapters.
Is there away around this problem with XP; outside of buying new adapters
which may or may not work with the older devices?

Software / Downloading

At site thetechguide.com in downloads

It says \"WinMe Boot Image\"  should download file named 'winmwbootcd.img'

when I click it to download it, apparently just opens the file putting junk all over the screen.

How do I download this file type?
