Well according to the latest GWN, Gentoo Linux 1.4_final is set to be released on January 14, 2003. Also, 1.4_rc2 is scheduled to be released tommorow, December 31st.

Some guys from Finland overclocked the new P4 2.2 GHz to 3.5 GHz. They claim it is a new world record, but someone else will probably beat them soon. Check out the page here.

There is no \"Maintain Indexes\" option in Photoshop because if you use the palette provided in the tutorial, it will automatically load the palette correctly.

No, there is no way to import your own palette.We extracted the palette from Image 5 in the ntoskrnl.exe.

Check this site here for an extensive gallery of win2k boot logos. You can use these and modify them to fit your winXP boot screen. Note: Make sure you convert these to 16 color bitmaps, otherwise they will not work.

No, there isn\'t any way of changing the default palette. The boot screen will not work with any images higher than 16 color(note: not 16-bit).
