Hardware / zip drive and presario with xp usb
« on: August 05, 2003, 12:25:20 AM »
I haven't found any hits on this.
When I install my zip100 usb cable into the presario running xp,
the system sees it, loads the driver and assigns it a letter.
I can use it fine.
But..If I try to reboot, the system hangs at the BIOS check, so I don't
think this is really an xp problem. As soon as I disconnect the
usb cable, the system will continue booting.
It's as if there is some kind of interrupt conflict, only on boot.
Any work around?
This same setup worked just great on pc-clone running w98.
Thanks
George
