Hardware / new devices autodetection

Hey guys


I did reformat my two computers and none of them is now autodetecting the new devices so i can install them


one has win2000 prof
other  win me


all the drivers are installed; went to control panel and checked system; everything seems right.-


am trying to install printers and i can get them installed no even trough ADDwiz



It must be a way of enabling autodetecting, but I dont know how


please help ASAP
