Hardware / Computer (relatively new) keeps rebooting! help asap!

this sounds like the same prob me and my friend had.
it was a virus that kept restartin the pc,a timer would come up sayin that the thing would shut down after 60secs and then it would reboot and the same thing would happen over and over again and again.
what i had to do was go to my other friends house and download a patch on to a floppy disc then i had to change the start up drive to start from the floppy then i had to reinstall the whole heap from the beginning.
unfortunatley i lost everything as i didnt have any backups.
but instead of payin someone a fortune i just foned my isp who kindly walked me through the whole process.

hi all i need some help pls.
im lookin to install a new graphics card on my pc but theres a few things i need to know first.
1st how can i check what version of agp i have as ive lost the manual?
2nd can my pc support a graphics card as it has a geforce 2 integrated card in it?
3rd if i install the graphics card will i need to upgrade my memory as its only 224ram?
4th how can i check if my pc has tv out capabilities?
the reason for all this is that i love gaming online and i cant play things like battlefield 2 plus i have a cracking 42inch tv which as u know would be a lot better than a dopey 17inch monitor.
ur hole would be much appreciated.
