I installed and found I have to crack it with in 30 days, 26 days as of this writing. My tech-expert sent me this file called, winxp_crk. And gave me instructions to crack the activation thing.
I found out in the readme, that i have to uninstall the SP1 patch if I have it(?). Though he says I don't have to uninstall it. now, can someone please explain to me how I can sucesfully get the activation thingy off my butt?
Only working one I know of that I use for WinXP Pro and allows you to download anything from Microsoft. I got IE7. (I promise that there are no viruses, scan it!) Makes WinXP (Any SP) Legit -

Its a torrent but its the only thing I've found to work great. I encourage you to scan it just so you'll feel secure.

I would open the inside and check all connections, reseat Ram, etc...

Check the cables also, no bent pins and such coming from monitor?
I know is not the monitor and its not the video  card because I tested both. I opened it up but no visible damage. I'm guessing its a MB problem.

Tech Clinic / Video Problem

My computers messed up and I'm a tech guy. I'm lost. http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />

Okay, so I brought my computer home after having it in the trunk. I hooked it up as usually and the monitor is black. As in it shows no connection to the computer. I know its not the monitor OR the video card because i tested the monitor with a different video card and it still didn't work but I tested another  monitor with both video cards and it didn't work. Both monitors work, both video cards work, but no video. I can turn on my computer and it will start but I see nothing. My video card is connected directly to the power supply. I have a sufficient power supply. I custom built the computer so I'm not stupid. I did everything right. Not sure what happened. Maybe the AGP slots bad or magnet damage or something. Nothing appears to be wrong with it except no video, jumpers are right, ect... Also, instead of turning back off instantly when messing with it to see if it'd work after adjustments, it would take the whole 5-second hold on the power button. Normally it turns off instantly while in the early stage of booting.

So I don't know. I'm lost. Any help is appreciated.

Overclocking / How far can I take over clocking my video card?
« on: July 14, 2006, 11:36:27 PM »
I have a GeForce 6200 AGP card, brand new, and I was wondering how far I could take the overclocking.
The Core clock frequency is factory set to 350 MHz and can max up to 700 MHz.
The memory clock frequency is factory set to 400 MHz and can reach up to 1.4 GHz.

About how far can I take it with no damage to it or the CPU?
