Note:
10.0.0.1 is local dhcp and gateway
199.96.34.34 is DNS server - can ping it, but the tracert www.google.com shows that I can't successfully query it
All other computers on the network have no problems, no virus detected on this computer
Also notice, when ping and tracert reiterate the ip, it is garbled.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
