Tech Clinic / SATA and XP Problems

have a gigabyte GA-7NNX, i can install windows, i install the nforce drivers, but when windows XP restarts it hangs in the boot screen and i have to format the HD again. How can i fix it???.
when i install windows and nforce drivers i only get a yellow sign in the device maganer in the setcion called Mass storage device, the i try to install the drivers from a diskette and after it restarts it cannote cime back to windows
