Tech Clinic / removing partition on hard drive

I had to do a clean install of 2000 pro and thought I would be smart, limited C drive to 2 gig with the intention of keeping the bare minimum there.
Guess MS don't agree, as many of their programmes don't offer the option of installing to a drive other than C....
How do I remove the partition so that the whole drive is once again C without having to reformat the C component - possible?
