Software / svchost error in win 2000 pro

[font=\"Arial\"][color=\"red\"]hey everyone. ok everyone's been posting about this svchost.exe error. And don't know about you but i got the same symptoms as ya'll but the error was said to be caused by a global c++ file. after installing the sp4 and all the latest patches. It seemed to have worked for me. I haven't had the error at all since i did this. Of course it took me 5 reformats to get it not to. so yeah. But in the end it looks like a hard code error that on dialup connections causes these errors. And not a viri. Atleast not one that my Norton 2003 Pro detected.
