Tech Clinic / web-conference problems with messenger 6.1

hi
i use a P3-450 mhz computer
when i try to make web-conference with MSN Messenger 6.1
the PC get stuck - it needs hard reset to work again
it also get stuck if i use audio only or video only confrerence
i couldn't detect if it was a softwer or hardwer problem
