Let's see I think for the price range you are looking at you shouldn't have a problem finding one that will suit your needs. Try newegg.com. Look for a 120 gig HDD that's 7200RPM with an 8MB cache. You should be happy with what you get.

Hardware / motherboards compatibility
« on: May 04, 2004, 12:24:48 PM »
That depends on the type of videocard and motherboard you have. If the videocard is AGP and you have an AGP slot on your MOBO then chances are it will work. If you have an AGP slot you might wanna check what it is rated at. Example I have a 4X AGP slot in my MOBO most new videocards are 8X but almost all of them are backwards compatible but you won't get the full benefit of the 8X card if you are using it a 4X slot. Got it?  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />

My question is about FSB speeds and whether of not they play an issue in selecting an upgrade for my current CPU.

This is my MOBO:

I currently have a Athlon XP 1900+ installed which has a 266Mhz FSB. I would like to install a Athlon XP 3200+ which has a 400Mhz FSB. Both are socket A processors so I know it will fit, my question is will it run as intended, or would I be wasting my money?

Thanx in advance -OI
