well .. here goes my story of runescape scammed ..
i was just starting to play runescape and wanted to be a miner and after selling all those 28 coals at a time for 150 ea .. finally made about 20k .. now my dream back then was to get the rune pick which costs 32k in the store .. then one day i hear someone saying rune pick for 20k ... then i get like .. omg thats really cheap ... so i try to trade my 20k for the rune pick .. what i didnt realise was that the son o a b had changed the rune pick to addy pick while i was offering the money .. and in haste i pressed accept ..i look at my inventory and omg .. this was the first experience of getting scammed in runescape .. then after a lot of selling the coal i finally get the rune pick for 32k at the store .. now i thought about scamming the way i was scammed .. and tried it a few times but got bored .. then i found out about this buying low and selling high thing from somewhere .. so i started trading .. and after sometime made my first 400k .. you cant imagine the joy i got from this lol .. so im doing my usual thing then i hear someone saying "selling lvl 60 runescape account for 200k" .. i go omg if i buy it for 200k then ill still have 200k with which i can make more .. but now ill also have a lvl 60 acc .. (by the way my account at that time was about 30-35) .. so i go allrite ill buy the acc .. and he gives me the user and pass so that i can check it out .. i go in and see everything was allrite .. so i buy it for 200k .. the son o a b changed his pass via recovs .. its hard to imagine but i was unaware about recovs back then lol .. still i gather my courage to doin my usual "business" stuff lol .. and after about 2 months i make about 2.5mil .. now at the bank i hear someone saying "buyin runescape gp for real $$" .. i go omg .. if i can sell my money then maybe i can be mems .. cause i cant afford it in real life anyway .. so i ask him how we're goin to be doin this .. he asks me to add him on his msn .. which i thought was pretty trustful back then .. cause now i was in contact with him directly .. so he teaches me how to make an e-gold acc .. and teaches me some more stuffs .. so i go .. hmm this seems to be a nice guy .. then he says that he'll pay me 10$ for my 2 mil .. i go .. allrite .. and he says in the game i should keep pressing the accept after i offer him the money .. and he'll press accept only after i get the money in my e-gold acc .. well i say .. that seems to be allrite .. the son o a b pressed accept as soon as i pressed accept .. and omg my 2 mil was gone .. still i didnt lose total hope on him and thought he mustve paid me and it must be taking some time for the money to come to my e-gold acc .. so i kept looking at the e-gold for about a week or so .. regularly for the first few days .. but nothing ..
