Bought PC 5 y ago.XP too.Yesterday i bought new hard ,new graphic,monitor,bigger memmory.Mr Bill wants me to buy a new XP http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':angry:\' />  NO WAY.Illigal?HM!My PC is mine.My XP is mine.Maybe i am illigal? I have a legitimate copy of xp home sp1 that came with an old HP laptop that I dont use anymore. So I install xp on my machine and it asks for an activation. I cheer and move on with life. Now... a month later it is saying I have 7 days left on my activation.
So when it pops up saying I have 7 days left and would I like to activate... I click "Yes". But because of my crack it takes me to a screen that says I have already activated.
-Is there a way to get around this so I can at least attempt to go through phone activation? (Bring up the original activation process)
