Still pop in at times... Seems as if GazMandrake is not returning to this topic so I\'ll lock it
Sorry for the delay, I\'m in a work camp and internet is spotty.... Do you still need a hand?
I can only help occasionally, but I can do what I can
Locking topic as topic starter has abandoned this thread
Since you\'ve tried most troubleshooting steps, it\'s either bad or faulty drivers, some nasty spyware/adware or it could just be a defective onboard network, or network card
You could try booting up with a linux distro such as ubuntu as see if you can connect
You\'re going to have to keep me updated how things are running
Any problems that remain
Can you run a fresh scan with Farbar Recovery Scan tool.
When done post the new logs
Please keep me informed how things are running
Please download https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/\'>AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.
Do you know what virus you had/have?
Can you do the following please
Download the version of this tool for your operating system.
Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (64 bit)
Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (32 bit)
and save it to a folder on your computer\'s Desktop.
Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
Press Scan button.
It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please copy and paste it to your reply.
The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt).
Copy and paste it\'s contents also
Didn\'t see the log, but how\'s it running?
sounds like you either had a spike of voltage with the psu
or the slot is just bad
You can troubleshoot hardware more on your end then I can
Sorry I can\'t be of more help
Could be that one pcie slot is bad, as for the other you may want to ensure uninstall and install latest video drivers
The info of your motherboard should be printed right on motherboard itself
Regardless, if you\'re unsure about updating bios, might want to leave it, but info is all in the motherboard manual
Shows more than one way of updating
A bios update may fix some problems
One update I believe addresses
Fixed onboard & add-on VGA card compatibility issue
I can\'t find your exact model motherboard, what bios version you have installed?
Are you planning to update bios?
.
You should have your manual for tweaking memory, etc....
Here\'s a link to a similiar model motherboard manual
http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/P8P67M_PRO/HelpDesk_Manual/\'>http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/P8P67M_PRO/HelpDesk_Manual/
which motherboard? which BIOS?, as eg.. Award BIOS v4
More than likely GPU or Ram, but beep code gives better indication
It could be a Spam filter setting or conflict with AV
