« on: December 16, 2004, 10:21:37 AM »
I have a Dell Optiplex 110 P3 733 mhz running 2000 server..and the 32mb ram onboard video has failed...at the moment I put in an Old Virge 8mb video card till I can get something better

the problem I have is that this box has no AGP slot...SO...I need some recommendations on what good PCI graphics cards I could use...I don't need more then 64mb video memory fro anything I do...but 64 will be cool to

I have seen good priced GeForce 2 cards...as well as an ATI 7000

anything with Dual Monitor options is a bonus too....

so.....any reviews over any PCI cards would be greatly apreciated

if both partitions are empty do a low level format and try again...you can get a low level format programs off the hard drive manufacturers website...and some...Like Seagate can be used on all HDs

PCI-X is not as of yet supported...as far as configuration tools it varies from Distro to Distro...and to my knowledge there is no s/w switch needed for Linux/Unix

I have found Slackware 10 to be one of the best distros so far...but you need alot of background on linux/unix as it is not as user friendly as the rest...VERY solid though...2nd only to debian
