Software / Faulty XP Crack, Need Help

Hello,
I rescently tried to crack Windows XP Home with a small program that was supposed to do the job for me. When I went to the actual "activate windows" it told me it was indeed activated. Apparently the program didnt do the job, because it kept reminding me that I need to activate windows, and now im locked out (end of trial period). Im stuck in a rut because I try to activate it and it says that it's already been done, but it boots me back to the login screen. Probably a bad choice of program to use on my part, but is there any way i can fix this without reinstalling XP? Thanks in advance.
