I'm sure every now and then someone gets that person saying "oh, the pin didn't work" but may be lying. To be 100% sure you let the MM or other person activate the pin for you..
You ask "the other person, what?! They will need my password."
the answer is, no they won't.
do this.
1. Go to the
www.runescape.com home page
2. Select "extend an existing subscription" if you want to extend a subscription, or "start a new subscription" if you want to start a new one.
For this to work you must select it with your scroller.
3. Once you select it (with your scroller) you will notice the link should look something like this:
https://billing_core.runescape.com/i=152413...ions.ws?cid=2254. That's good.. now select the type of pin you're setting (you can select it with your mouse).
5. After this, enter the phone number assigned to the PIN, then click "accept".
6. This is the part where you look at the URL, and give this URL to the MM or the Seller
They can activate your pin for you via this menu. they will not, and can not do anything else with your account or get your password. it is 100% safe and easy to do.
Once the pin is activated, pay the Seller and you're good
