Software / Need advice on drive copying

I\'m getting a new computer which will have licensed Win98 loaded on a 3.2GB drive.  I have a 15GB drive I want to use.  I\'d like to keep the 3.2G drive as a backup of the OS since I don\'t have the install CD.  What would be the easiest way to copy drive contents (*everthing*) to the other drive?

How can I tell if my the crack I used did the trick?  I no longer get the annoyance of XP asking me to register/activate.  I though I read somewhere there is a command to check and see but I can\'t find it.

Software / Sony abCD Packet Writing and WinXP

Sony abCD does not work on XP and the latest DirectCD is not able to extract the files from my abCD disc (it finds files with no names and cannot recover the files.  Does anyone know how I can get my files off the abCD in XP?

How do you separate your OS and Docs-n-Settings from Program Files?  Do you do this at setup or copy/move later?

I have an unlabeled copy of Windows 98 on CD ROM.  How do I tell if it is Second Edition or not?
