Software / Xp BootScreen Palette Help?

Hey im new here.. seems like a funky site ^^.
Anyway, i have problems importing the palettes...i can get the palette to load but i still only see the bmps as black...
I am using Adobe Photoshop 8.0, Help greatly appreciated. Thank you
