Here is the same thing. It pasted in.

Error Message 1:
Windows cannot open ‘’. Make sure you have typed the name correctly then try again.

Error Message 2:
Cannot load or run ‘’ as specified in the registry. Make sure file exists….

The error messages are as near as I can make them in the attached Word Document. There appears to be about three or four files so affected.

I can now open the Start menu, but them the machine hangs and will not load any programs. I have to power down to restart.

Hi,

Did that.

No joy in normal mode. I anything worse. Mouse cursor is hourglassed on Start Button.

Error message "Windows could not find (filename consists of a string of squares as though in a non loaded font)

There ar about 4 such messages which load before PC cillin.

Hi,

Have an XP box won't run in normal mode. Scanned in Safe Mode with Pest Patrol and got rid of a number of threats.

Error messages coming up during normal start "Can't find file (string of boxes)".

Require assistance please with HJT log analysis. Please note: HJT run in safe mode. Machine will not run in normal.
